Put-in-Bay Island Wine Festival – OCTOBER 1 @ 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
The annual Put-in-Bay Wine Festival will be October 1, 2016 at Put-in-Bay, Ohio. Sample more than 250 imported and domestic wines, including island wines from Put-in-Bay Winery and Heineman’s. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon of good food, and excellent wine.
Plan a Fall visit to Lake Erie Shores & Islands where South Bass Island presents the Annual Island Wine Festival. Sample more than 400 foreign and domestic wines, including island wines from Heineman Winery and Put-in-Bay Winery, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon of good food and excellent wine. Other activities include winery tours and a large Silent Auction that benefits the Lake Erie Islands Historical Society.
Admission is $6 and includes a souvenir wine glass. Sample tickets are $1 each and sold at the door and in the tent. Most samples are $1 – $4. There will be retail bottle sales so you can take your favorite wine home with you. There will also be great silent auction items, including: vacation packages, large bottles of wine, and other fine gifts. The silent auction benefits the Lake Erie Islands Historical Society.

Want to go to the Winefest by boat?!?
Take a trip to Put-In-Bay for the day! The Jet Express will depart from Black River Landing in Lorain and head to Put-In-Bay for the annual Wine Tasting Festival being held there. The Festival runs from 11AM until 6PM. Enjoy samples from over 100 different wineries as well as the great sights the island has to offer.

The ticket prices are for the Jet Express trip from Lorain to Put-In-Bay and back. Admission to the Wine Festival is not included in the ticket prices, but admission to the Wine Festival is only $6. With your admission, you get a souvenir wine glass and get to sample hundreds of foreign and domestic wines, including island wines from Heineman Winery and Put-in-Bay Winery. Sample tickets are $1 and most samples are in the $1-$4 range.
