Dear Put-in-Bay Spring Fling Guest,
We are sharing this information to announce that the Official Put-in-Bay Spring Fling at the Island Club is POSTPONED until a later date to be determined. THERE IS NO OFFICIAL SPRING FLING PARTY AT THE ISLAND CLUB MAY 29TH. We will wait until we can have a proper event.
We are as disappointed as you are that the Spring Fling will not be able to go ahead on the dates originally planned due to Covid-19. However, we want to reach out to all of you and let you know that we do absolutely intend to have a Spring Fling of sorts, even if it ends up becoming an “early Summer” Fling. Stay tuned to Put-in-Bay’s Coronavirus Update page to get up to date information on when island businesses will begin to reopen.
We WILL be having an Island Club customer appreciation event in 2020. The dates will be dependent on our ability to be compliant with Gov. DeWine’s restrictions on gathering sizes, while still throwing an event worth attending. If you booked a house or condo for our original Spring Fling dates, we will be reaching out to you first before we advertise the new event dates to the public, so that you can book your house if you are able to join us on those dates.
We also want all of our Spring Flingers to be aware of an attempt to confuse you. One of the downtown hotels is advertising an event also called the Spring Fling on the weekend of May 29th. This is NOT the Official Put-in-Bay Spring Fling at the Island Club; it has no affiliation whatsoever to our event, which has been at the Island Club for the last 20+ years and will continue to be at The Island Club. There’s only one Official Spring Fling: the one you know and love at the Island Club in Put-in-Bay Ohio.
The party that we throw in 2020 will live up to that name, and YOU WILL BE THE FIRST TO KNOW when it is!
