The Drawing to benefit the Middle Bass Historical Museum on Saturday, Sept. 5th, 2020 was an exciting day for the island. Over $6,000 was raised for the MBI Historical Museum with the raffle of the Yeti Cooler filled with prizes!
Mary Roesch wanted to thank the entire Raffle/Auction Fundraiser Committee for coordinating each week the sale of the tickets, making sure the tickets were distributed, and then delivered to the Town Hall Treasurer. A shout out for: Barb Nostrant, Ann Shelton, Barb Lodermeier, Ann Huber, Nancy Paul, Katie Schneider and Lyndell Bartels. The committee also wanted to thank the many islanders who donated their time in selling the tickets throughout the summer.
Mary also wanted to recognize Mike and Nancy Paul who so generously donated the Yeti Cooler and the wonderful MBI logo in scripted on the lid. Katie Paul, their daughter, designed all the graphics for the cooler, tickets and the posters. The cooler was a work of art!
A big thank you to all the committee members for donating the wonderful items in the cooler. Chris Zeitler and of J.F. Walleyes’s and Eddie Sheller and Joe Hart of the General Store for the wine, Gordy Barr for his book, and Lee Hisey for getting the printing done for the event.
Mary and her team also want to thank all the generous people who supported the MBI Historical Museum by purchasing tickets! This is just a start to the big Auction next year on Saturday July 24, 2021!
