Topsy Turvey’s Bar and Grill is a former bait and tackle shop. You can still tell if you look closely enough. Bait and boat accoutrement are still available for purchase. With that said, Topsy Turvey’s has mostly transitioned to the other end of the fishing enterprise these days. They sell the best fried perch among Put-in-Bay restaurants. Stop by before a fishing trip for supplies or even after a day of no bites and grab that delicious perch sandwich that you wanted to provide yourself. Cuban sandwiches and breakfast burritos are other house favorites. Get that Cuban scrambled with some eggs for a delightful hangover cure. Put the whole thing on a bagel while you’re at it. Daily drink specials are a constant reason to return. From Sunday Fundays to Martini Mondays, the bar is always concocting wonderful cocktails. A Brandy Alexander is their piece de resistance. Several nights a week they also feature live music from a talented rotating line-up of acoustical musicians.
