The Round House Bar has long been known for the neon “Whiskey” light above the front door. The Put-in-Bay summer season begins and ends at this establishment every year. The season is launched by the annual Whiskey Lighting Ceremony and then ended with 'The Wake'. Throughout the season, it's best known for live entertainment and buckets of beer. The exterior of the building was adorned with the American flag in 2013 to commemorate the 14th anniversary of the bar and the bicentennial celebration of The Battle of Lake Erie.
