Gibraltar Island is closed to the public, but during the summer, there are tours hosted by Ohio State and the Ohio Sea Grant. The tours are from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM on Wednesdays from June 20th to August 8th. These tours are first-come first serve, so arrive early at the Boardwalk Restaurant dock, located at 341 Bayview Ave. The tour is $10 per person, $5 for children ages 6-12, and an additional $6 for a round-trip ticket on the Gibraltar Island water taxi.
