"I stayed here for a Girls trip for 3 days. The rental was clean but needs some work. Blinds in bedroom were broken or in poor shape. Broken drawers in bedrooms and kitchen and old furniture/curtains. It rained one day and we literally had water leaking from the kitchen ceiling. We put a bucket where it was leaking and left it there so they knew where the leak was coming from. I did call the office about this. They didn’t come over to fix it - but it had stopped raining so it wasn’t a problem for us. The deck has areas that it
feels like you could fall through. I can’t imagine it would pass code. So I was a little disappointed in the condition of the place. It needs some Updating and maybe a fresh coat of paint. Due to the condition of the place- I would not recommend this unit. "

"We came to race. This place was a clean, convenient location, and the air conditioner worked great! Only complaint was the bed linens didn't fit the beds. Despite that, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to next year."

But went up for spring fling and got rained out so they moved it to a bar but there was no communication on what time the free food and 1.50 beers were the guy who brought around the wristbands and info said he didn’t even know so by the time we got there it was all over what a waste.... "We were able to check in as soon as we arrived around noon instead of waiting until 4:00 which was very nice. Cottage is very spacious, good water pressure in the showers, nice outdoor space, location was great."

"The house itself was definitely needing some updates and repairs. The kitchen had some cooking utensils and pans but were definitely abused. The refrigerator is not working quite well and needed attention by the management team. They were prompt at coming over to address the issue. Living Room was nice and clean. The bedrooms were clean but beds were quite uncomfortable but manageable for our two nights there. The bathrooms were clean and plenty of hot water! For the two night say we were satisfied with the overall home. Would not have paid the normal price to stay there as we had a discount due to covid. The pool was right out the door and perfectly heated. Disappointed the pool was not open passed 7pm. It is well lit and had a great atmosphere. Was extremely happy to see security on golf carts driving around all evening as well as the bus. I would suggest future renters to book island club golf carts or go thru Golf Cart Depot. "

"Me and my buddies went to put in bay for the weekend to get away from it all and relax. Had a great time hitting the bars and hanging out at the cottage. The place was just as expected and met our needs. I recommend renting a golf cart to get around efficiently."

"This is a fantastic time of year to come! Great event, nice accommodations and so much fun with girlfriends! House was really nice. Many updates. Only thing I could suggest is better lighting in the bedrooms and maybe a mirror or two. Would make getting ready with 8 girls flow nicer. Other than that it was perfect!"

"My grandkids love the island. It's great to stay at the Island Club, because you have more room and amenities than a hotel or condo. The Island Club has a pool and that's where we spent a lot of time. We also enjoyed fishing, driving golf carts, and other island activities. I stay there every year and wish my visit wasn't over. "

"This was a great rental! RIGHT across from the pool making it easy to get there and back. The staff was all very nice. Island Club 9 is very roomy. There were 8-9 of us and we were not cramped for room at all. The water stayed hot after we all showered!"

"I had booked this house for a group of 25 year old college girl friends getting together for the weekend. It was great to have a communal space to share (kitchen, living room and porch) but the house itself is not in great condition. It wouldn't have been bad if the rental wasn't so expensive!!! Felt a little ripped off, but it is good to know what you're getting into ahead of time. It did not stop us from having a great time though! We enjoyed the location and we're glad we rented a golf cart for the weekend. "

"From the booking process with Jerry and his crew to the service we had on the island with Dottie and her crew to the taxi service by Tony and rhe rest of that crew, the whole experience was fantastic. There isnt anywhere else on the island that we would rather stay."

"We made a trip up to the bay thru the week so we could bring the kids and the dogs. It was pretty quiet on the island (I usually come up on the weekends) and all had a great time. The house was nice and I picked it because it was so close to the pool and the deck is awesome! As always, Dottie is wonderful to work with!! I will always come back to Island Club!!!"

"It was one of the best vacations!! We had 8 ladies and everyone had a blast. It felt like an upgraded camping trip with house. Loved it! Last time we were here was in college. The entire island has changed and there is so much to do. We never had a dull moment. The staff was great, anything we needed they resolved right away. I would bring hand soap next time we go, did not think of that. Make sure to rent a golf cart, they made it so easy by dropping it off right at the house. The whole weekend was amazing, and all of us now want to make it a yearly trip. They really did take all of the guess work out of planning the trip. So easy!

"The place is nice. The only WIFI though is at the pool, That's the only down side to it. The place was clean. Easy to get in and out of. Close to pretty much all the attractions. "

"The entire weekend was amazing! Getting to the island is a breeze, as was locating the island club shuttle. Took about 5 minutes to get from the port to the house. House had a great view of the pool and was nice and clean. Few very minor issues - light in the bathroom was out, no hand soap in bathrooms, and no floor mat in one bathroom (not nice to step out on cold floors). Otherwise, everything was perfect! Will definitely be back and request #9 again!!"

"My friends and I get a cottage every year at the Island Club. The decks are always so much fun to cookout on and play music. We were across from the pool this year so it was so such a good time seeing people out everywhere. Unfortunately it rained the weekend we were there and some NASTY bugs come out during their rainstorms. That would be my only complaint, however its nothing but mother nature can do about it! Security told us to turn our music off at 11pm which was annoying because the rules states quite time is 12am-8am. Other than that, the stay was great and I think it is a wonderful vaca - relax during the day, drink at the fun clubs at night!"

"Dottie and the crew did a fantastic job of preparing the house for our stay and taking care of our needs. The hospitality at the island club is the reason we never even think of staying any where else on the island."

"Upon arrival, the staff was wonderful. The tall thin man with an accent was a hard worker with the intention to please guests. The property itself was just really dated. A lot of the doors needed repaired, the bathtubs would back up, the carpet had a general "not-so-clean" feel to it, among other just plain worn issues. I don't think any of this had to do with the housekeepers, it just needed a lot of remodeling. BUT, great location away from the craziness of town, and right down the street from the State Park."

"Dottie was a pleasure to work with. We didn't have a cutting board in our kitchen & we called her to see about getting one. She had one sent over right away. Then our grill wouldn't work & a new one was sent over. On the day we were to check out we didn't have anywhere to store our luggage but we wanted to tour the island a little bit. Dottie graciously allowed us to keep our bags at the house until we were ready to leave later in the day! "

"This was the second year in a row that we stayed in Island Resort and we will be back...maybe more than just once a year. These are the perfect accommodations for a larger group with a full kitchen & washer & dryer. Jus close enough for a short drive or taxi ride to PIB and far enough away to escape the noise and commotion. See you next year!"

"Top rate. I originally booked another property near the pool and was told of this unit instead. Better location and easier access. And when we couldn't find a can opener, management was right there after a phone call. Our last evening we came back and found the AC unit was out. Again made a phone call and AC was restored for a great last night."

"As we do every year (last 5 or 6 we rent house #9 the first week of August. And we will again next year. Always have a great time . Dotie has always been fantastic in taking care of us. Need to fix a few things in the house. They have been an issue for the last 2 visits that we have made.
1) Bathroom exhaust fan in 2nd bath has not worked again this year.Not good with 6 people staying in the house with no ventilation in that bath.
2) light in the master bath shower toilet area not working. I put a new bulb in and still does not light. Difficult to see ehile in the shower.
Hope you can fix these before our next visit. As always, we are proud to leave the house cleaner than we found it. Talk to you in February when we make our next reservations.

"Overall, great location and property. The reservation team is amazing and went out of their way to help with the reservations. My only issue was that all of the floors were extremely dirty as if only swept and not mopped which is gross. I think it would serve the property management well to consider having floors mopped and carpet cleaned more frequently."

"A lot of kids were drunk and flying around very fast on golf carts and almost hitting our vehicles. Kids skinny dipping in pool late at night. Someone stole my daughters tricycle. Disappointed with no security. Very clean. I thought it was nice to have our carpets cleaned after we got there due to them being very dirty. Staff very friendly and willing to assist with whatever we needed."

"Second year in a row at the Island club. Location, cleanliness of property was exceptional. We did have some issues, however Dottie was more than helpful to iron them out and make sure her guests were treated fairly. There were mostly males in this development, I'd say it was 75% dudes and 25% girls, so there is a lot of testosterone flying around. As long as you're fair and polite to Dottie, she will help you out for whatever you need. I highly recommend the island club, simply based off of her services during your stay."

"We stayed May 16th-19th, and the cottage was great. It is a little beat up, but it is clean (which is most important) and the beds are comfy. There is also a newer TV in the cottage, which was a nice surprise. The location in the development is perfect – right across from the pool, which would be fun in warmer weather. It is a quick taxi ride to downtown, and we never waited more than 10 minutes after calling Tim. He was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was helpful prior to our visit and while we were there, and I received my safety deposit soon after I returned home. "
