"Island Club rental was a wonderful experience! Our cabin was in a good location, quiet, parking available for 2 vehicles. It was clean, good seating, comfortable couches. Big kitchen, washer & dryer, all the comforts of home on the island! Our family enjoyed the cabin and our time on the island!❣️"

"While the property is in overall good condition it could use a little up keep. Our cabin #83 needed to have some cabinet drawers fixed. We will be returning next year. "

"Overall, we had a great time at our Island Club. There were a couple of broken drawers in the kitchen, and the skylight in the adjoining bathroom leaked (accompanied by a large spot of mold), but otherwise the house was clean and well-kept. However, I never received my security deposit back, despite leaving the house spotless. I also never received a notice that I wouldn't get it back for any reason. Please return my money to me."

"Really great special advertised with a free golf cart we jumped on. Very professional staff and very friendly. Lots of mayflies all over the island this time. Wow! A bit much but they are good for the environment and circle of life. You need to bring your own towels and sheets. We would definitely come back and take advantage of this special again. Much less crowded than on the weekends and peaceful."

"We stayed at the Island Club for the weekend preceding the 4th of July. We had a great time and were very satisfied with the unit and location. The only issue we had was the lack of wifi, but we were off our phones and in the pools for the most part anyways. I would recommend the island club to anybody looking to have a good time with friends or family."

"Great location. Rental was good looking from the outside. Inside it needs serious attention. I reported these issues to the Island Club office on the morning of the sixth. One bed has a bad spot in the floor, which I nearly went through. There is a soft spot in front the back bedroom door and master bath. The master bath toilet does not flush properly. The central air unit thermostat needs repair. The unit would not shut off. I had to shut it off manually, or it ran continually. woke up first morning to near 50 degree temps. No vacuum or broom, so no way to clean up a mess if one occurs. I believe someone removed the some cooking pots and pans, as there were only eight inch pans during our stay.
This home needs structural work now, or it will be unusable in a couple more years. There were also people getting loud at 2 am one morning, rules need enforced. The Island club does not have a good reputation on the island for these reasons. Really a shame, it could be special. Other than these issues my family and I loved South Bass Island and due plan on returning, just not to the island club unless they and the home owners make some changes."

"I booked this cabin for a girl's weekend and it was perfect for the 5 of us! The location was great and between our golf cart and the cab service (shout out to Tony for being so wonderful to us during our stay!) it's incredibly easy to get back and forth to all of the restaurants and bars downtown. The only issue we had with this particular cabin is that the heat didn't work and since it was late April/early May in Ohio we definitely still needed it. I contacted property management first thing the next morning and lovely woman named Dotty came over literally 5 minutes after I called to look into the heat situation. It was broken so she got us into a new (and bigger!) cabin within the next hour. Cabin #99 is a great cabin too! I would highly recommend this cabin (or any other cabin for that matter!) if you're looking to relax and have fun. We definitely plan on returning :-)"

"When we arrived the air conditioner was broken,the grill wouldn't light,the fan was broken, and the vents did not stay open. Having said that we called and everything was taken care of immediately. We were very happy with the attentiveness of your workers. The cleanliness of the cabin on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being best I would rate it a 4. The shower curtains were moldy, there was still a bathroom sponge from the previous tenants still on the floor. The ashtray in the front room still had ashes and butts in it. The lamp was also missing a lightbulb. The kitchen was also pretty bad. We loved the location but next time I think we would not stay in this particular "cabin" again. I would like to stay in a cabin that was more cared for. "

"I think we spent $1575 for 2 nights and 6 of us went. We all had a bed and the whole area was partying the weekend. I would do it again."

If we need to have something done it is always done when asked and not put off. Lock the doors though - a teenager tried to enter our cabin through the back door but luckily someone was in the bedroom to scare him off. We assumed he was going to rob the place...Otherwise we felt quite safe and would come back again."

"The house was very spacious for eight people. The only complaint I have about this rental property compared to the other two island club houses we've stayed in is the kitchen. It could definitely use more cookware. If you plan on needing a cake pan or anything similar, bring one! Other than that, no complaints! "

"The place was not at all as described, from dirty floors to broken doors. The kitchen area was covered with dead bugs and cob webs in the corners. The kitchen table looked as if it was found at goodwill with crooked legs on the chairs while the refrigerator only had two shelves the 3rd was missing. I had to fix the broken drawers in the kitchen so they were usable. As you entered the living room area the carpet as very worn and not swept, because the sweeper was broke. the bathroom door had been broke but someone tacked the frame back up. One of the closet doors in the bedroom was off track and could not be closed, while beds were jammed into a room that was too small for so many beds.The island was amazing but accommodations were below standard, more of a party house than a vacation house. If you like dirty walls and a place to sleep then this is your place but it is not cheap. Very dissatisfied!"

"Fantastic Place for a Bachelor party weekend. The whole complex was in the party mood. Not to loud and rowdy, but there if you are looking for it. Good beds, Comfy setup in the cabin. Cabs are steadily driving through so getting a ride to town is easy."
