"I have been going to Island Club for many years for the spring fishing season. Plan to return again next year. "

"For our family annual trip to put in bay we decided to go up during Halloween weekend. Most generally there is 6 to 8 of us that go on this fall trip. We always stay at the island club. Easy to book our stay and super friendly. Our cabin is always ready when we get there and the best part is we rent our golf carts from them too. That way they’re there when we get there and we just have to leave them when we leave. Always a nice place to stay and nice people to deal with. That’s why it’s our go to when we go to put in Bay for the weekend."

"The home is exactly as described. Nothing fancy but we were not going to spend a ton of time in the house anyway. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was minimally equipped with enough stuff to cook if you want to but again nothing fancy. Location is great in a community with other similar hoes. They are a little close together so if you have noisy neighbors you will know but we were fine and the community has rules regarding noise. The pool looks very nice and neat. The community is neat and clean and in the woods which is nice. I stayed here with my 16-year-old son and 2 of his friends. We had plenty of space and the washer and dryer made it nice so we didn't have to pack too much. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The reservation process and check-in were easy, smooth, and fast. I literally reserved the place less than 24 hours before we left for Put in Bay and I had absolutely no issues. I received my security deposit check returned to me in the mail about 10 days after our stay."

"It was fun relaxing. The only complaint was that the events for the weekend were a little confusing as we were told and it was noted that food was included Friday and sat and Friday the event had no idea what we were talking about. The rest of the trip was great."

"As usually we enjoyed great accommadations. The fully equipped cottages were truly appreciated especially the washer and dryer which came in handy with the wet weather we had. Maintenance and the cleaning staff were quick to respond to all are request (thanks Dottie). Wonderful trip except for wind and rain, plenty to do in town on the weather days"

"The house was spacious and clean. A few things should be addressed with the rental. The outlets in the house need updating because our chargers wouldn't stay plugged into the walls. There should be an iron (we had to wear wrinkled clothes) and a vacuum cleaner available, the house was mostly carpet and that is hard to sweep. Overall the property was great and our dedicated Taxi made getting around the island easy. "

"We had a very nice time! Dogs are allowed - no charge during the week, so our 2 came along. We all had a very nice stay. This unit is clean, well maintained. Town is quiet this time of year, esp during week. Very peaceful"

"We used a Groupon for our stay and feel the price was right. There were 4 adults and 3 children and we had plenty of room. We did have to work in a very poorly lit kitchen. Only 1 light over sink and it was not working well. The house appeared clean when we arrived and it was well stocked with all we needed in the kitchen. We soon learned that if we walked around in the house barefoot, our feet were black on the bottom. One only wonders if that was not coated on the furniture as well. As I stated, our price was good but can not imagine paying more during the summer. We may have had a special unit because of Groupon but I am not sure. The location was great and children enjoyed the pool, and it was quiet. I would take advantage of a special again but not full price."

"Rented for the weekend, it did the job and we had no issues. Pricing is a little high but of course it's put-in-bay in the summer and the interior is outdated but would recommend "

"We had a wonderful time on this trip! The beds are extremely comfy and the home was clean and pretty. Customer service was helpful. No one bothered us so we were glad to come and go as we pleased. One note: we used the over for pizza and a piece of toast must have been in the top broiler and dropped onto our pizza ewwww! but other than that surprise the house was neat and clean. We did not use the grill because it had quite a bit of cobwebs and things stuck to it. We could have cleaned off but just didn't make it appetizing for the others on our trip. All in all it was a wonderful place to stay and we loved it!! "

"Experience was OK - had to ask for linens and towels for right amount after help had NOT provided proper amounts. Grill Gas bottle was completely empty and had to ask for new bottle. Staff (Dotty, Brandy and Tony) are the best in the world!! They worked very hard to accommodate the issues above. It is clear that your golf carts are NOT in the best repair as we had two break down - Again, Dotty was most accommodating, but she cant fix broken down carts. they are clearly under-maintained, in my opinion. I know that Dotty has a HARD job making everyone happy and she is to be commended for that. The pool is completely inadequate for weekends - we never tried to get to it as it was shoulder to shoulder. It might be fine during the week, but we were a family on a weekend and had no desire to enter such a crazy packed area."

"We always have a blast at Island Club...We've stayed in #80 during spring fling for 5 years now and we love were it is located on the property. Only downfalls are a shelf in the fridge has been broken all five years & this year the shower in the master bath was backed up during the first use so we decided to just use the other shower. I did notice a few upgrades also....new stove & new sliding doors. We'll definitely be back next year!"

"We had 13 ppl. last year and due to our bragging of the great fun this group had in 1 overnight experience it grew to 30 ppl and 2 nights this year! The treatment from Island Club was and is fantastic and EASY to work with getting our now annual trip put in place. THANK YOU ISLAND CLUB!!!!"

"Pros -

1. It was clean when we arrived.
2. Nice location.
3. Comfortable beds and furniture.

Cons -

1. Water pressure is quite low. There is an extra large bathtub, but it took like 20 minutes to fill it to the point you could get a bath in it.
2. The hot water is actually more like WARM.
3. The grill had food on it and obviously had not been cleaned in a while.
4. There were one or two lights that were burned out.

***The onsite staff was very helpful once we got there. On the downside however, the young people that answered their phones were usually in too much of a rush. We asked where we could get a pizza delivered and the girl pretty much blew us off and hung up. Also, I specifically asked before the trip if the hot water was HOT and if the water pressure was good in this home as I'd seen comments that there had been problems in the past with water pressure. I asked about this both over the phone as well as in my registration email. I was assured it would be good. Obviously, no one bothered to take my request seriously and inform me this place does have low water pressure in the bathrooms.

That being said, we had an enjoyable stay, but I wouldn't stay in this property again."

"All-in-all a great time. We had two properties side by side at the island club and both were perfect for our 19-man bachelor party. Much better than staying in 4-5 hotel rooms. Dottie (and the rest of her management crew) were very very nice and always helpful if we needed anything. Only downside, the bugs are really bad at night.....which isn't anything negative about the island club....you just have to make sure that all the doors are closed at night."

"Always have a great time in #80. Been staying in #80 for 4 years now....one issue is the fridge.....bottom shelf is broken...there is duct tape holding the door guards on. Other that that we love it. People are always helpful and friendly. "

"Overall I was pleased with the Island Club. The location was right in the middle of the island about an 1.5 miles outside of the village. The condo was clean with all of appliances working fine, but did show a few signs of wear. The pool was nice, but on the small side. Biggest complaint was the lack of wi-fi in the condo. The location isn't ideal for cell phone coverage. "

"This cabin was easy to find and easy to check into using the keypad on the door. There was lots of sleeping space and the cabin was relatively clean, except for the bbq which we decided not to use. It would have been helpful to have some handsoap and coffee filters supplied and more than one dishtowel - these are ususally standard items in most rentals. Overall, we were happy with the cabin rental and would recommend it to others."

"The vacation rental was ok, there were ants crowling all over the counter,the refrigerator wasnt cold enough, if your coming with a large family they have plenty of room to acomidate. The beds were comfortable,bathrooms were clean.i would definitely rent again."

"When we first arrived we saw there were bugs everywhere, coming to find out that was nothing. They were mayflies a whole lot of them. Apparently we came during the 2 weeks they come to put in bay too! We would ride around in the golf cart and get hit with them, by the end of the trip it actually was funny it was like nothing we had ever seen before. The island club did a great job for us we needed a 6 person golf cart and they did not have any available but they ended up giving us 2 four person golf carts that worked out very well. We thank you a lot!!!Good times "

"My girlfriends and I have stayed in #80 for the last 3 years on spring fling weekend and we love it!! Only 2 small issues this year....the second bathrooms toilet wasn't flushing well & one of the sliders in the fronts curtain rod was just balanced on the brackets and kept falling off. Other than that we love it and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!"

Microwave trips circuit breaker.
Refrigerator broken.
Refrigerator freezes food.
No screens on windows.
SLiding glass doors off track.
Few bureaus to store stuff.
Direct TV didn't work first day.
AC didn't blow cold air."

"I have one huge complaint about my stay. We were promised wifi access, but did not have any which proved to be a huge disadvantage. I will be contacting the company for a follow up on this.

Otherwise, we really liked the place. It was disappointing how much of Put-in-Bay was closed during Easter weekend, but we were warned. We had a great time hanging out, the place was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable! Definitely would reccommend it to anyone. "

"I've been visiting PIB since I was 5 or 6 yrs old. I've stayed on boats at the marina, hotels in town, and camped multiple times as well. With a group over 5 people, the Island Club rentals is a great place to stay. It's rather costly, but what on the island isn't? I would say even with the cost that it was one of the more fun stays I've had. It was late in the season and we had 7 people in the house. It never felt crowded and with 2 full baths, itwas more than adequate space. I'll be renting there again."

"It was a nice rental with accomodations we need. The grill was fantastic to make all of our food on. The air conditioning felt good after a long day of walking around. The pool was clean and the kids enjoyed swimming. It was a nice and relaxing stay. Thank you!"

"We had a blast. The Island Club had everything we needed and more. There were a couple blemishes as far as previous tenants but that had nothing to do with the owners. They brought the golf cart to us and picked up. It was like Enterprise on the island! We were able to grill out everyday due to them providing a gas powered grill and the patio was large enough to accommodate a couple dozen people. Thank you so much for making our trip a truly special one. "

The value, especially compared to a motel room, was excellent. The entire Island Club was well maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful. "
