"We were there for a girls weekend. 8 of us comfortably stayed in this home with plenty of room. Its up to date and modern with cute decor and comfortable furniture. Its close to the community pool and not far from bars and restaurants. It would be nice if the bedrooms had mirrors to make the getting ready process a little easier. We would definitely stay again. "

"Went for a 2 day get away with friends and our kids. Place was tidy and well stocked with kitchen ware. There was an adorable black cat that hung around d the cabin. Not alot of room for kids to play on the property but plenty of things for them to do on the island. "

"We had a wonderful stay at island club rentals. The only down side is that the kitchen was only partly stocked. We were missing scissors, cake/brownie pan, and no kitchen towelettes or oven mitts. All things that we needed. Overall it was very spacious and a nice place to stay. "

"The property had everything we needed. It's outdated, worn, and the sliding glass door was broken and duck taped together. There was mouse poop on the kitchen counter. Overall, everything worked and we had a great weekend."

"We had a great time! This was our second year picking island club rentals for our girls trip stay. We really enjoyed the house and pool. The only thing that could of been a little better was the sliding doors in the front. One of them wouldn’t close all the way but we felt safe anyways. We would definitely come back!!"

"Checking in-and-out was very easy. Location is also good, but do not expect this to be a resort-type stay. It is very basic and not really that clean. You also had to bring all of your own linens."

"Once I figured out where the house was (a little hard to read the numbers) everything was really great. Good sized driveway accommodated a full size truck plus a midsize car. Comfy beds. Appliances worked well. Wifi was perfect. Loved the chipmunks on the front deck. Easy check in and check out. "

"The overall stay was good and our group had a great time. The property just needs some updating. Silverware drawer was broken, house holds 8, we had silverware for 3. No sheet pans. Carpets need cleaning. I would recommend this property to some, but not all my friends."

"Overall it was a good place to stay and the pool area was fun. Less than 5 min golf cart ride to the downtown area was perfect. My only wish was if the bathrooms could be updated. Even so, we definitely would return. The Office staff was great and helpful."

"Very accommodating and spacious. Guest services was very helpful in answering questions. The only gripe I had was with the zero policy for early check in. By getting there Saturday morning and not being able to drop our bags anywhere with the club was inconvenient. Overall great experience and great place to stay. "

"Little bit of a rough start our first night due to some miscommunication but we received a personal apology from the property management which more than made up for any miscommunication. All bedrooms and bathrooms were extremely clean, my friends and I all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! LOVED how close the property was to the pool!"

"It was a well maintained unit - the floors were very dirty - I would put laminate flooring in everywhere so it is easy to clean. WE left it better and cleaner than we got it. Had a great trip!!"

"3 couples, Sunday-Tuesday for a quick weekend away. We stayed in #4 last year, and this one is very similar. Clean, good location. "

"This past visit was the 4th time I've stayed at the island club. It's always a great time and in a great location. It's my favorite place to stay! However, there was a bit of a mix up this past time... my friends and I showed up and there was a group of girls (not so very nice may I add) in our house. Apparantely they were in condo 5 and not house 5. I'm not sure if there is an easier way to clarify that for those who don't pay attention because we weren't able to get into our house for roughly an hour while the girls were contacted and told to come back to remove their things and leave. I will say though, Dottie was so helpful an amazing. Unfortunately she had to deal with the nasty attitude from these girls but they eventually left after being extremely rude to everyone involved. This will in no way deter me from staying at the island club again but I do hope this never happens again! "

There were many amenities that came with the property, which allowed us to size down the amount of luggage we brought to the island. This was very helpful. Our place was very close to the pool as well!!"

"We rented cabin #5 for a bachelorette party that included our mothers. Upon arrival we were created by management staff. I was pleased that we had one extra full bed that was not mentioned in the listing as well as another twin mattress in a closet. The cabin was very clean and in great condition, there was an air vent that was lacking a cover but it was out of the way.

One of our guests frequent PIB and absolutely loved the cabin and its location. She claims that it was the best one she has stayed in (after being here 4 or 5 times) and plans on renting #5 for her next visit!! It was a truly awesome stay!!!"

"The house was nice and well stocked(Could have used more silverware.) The floors were not mopped and looked like it had been quite a long time since the last scrubbing. A living room chair smelled like someone had thrown up on it."

"Spacious accommodations,Few issues with debris on grounds from previous Tennan(cig.Butts, beer cans,brown hard substance on light switch).All in all good vacation would come back to do again "

"For the price everything was as advertised. The "master" bedroom light didn't work so we used the lamp and the shower had 3 inches of water in it by the end of a 5 min shower. Our stay wasn't long enough for us to hassle with calling maintenance. Overall it was a nice place. We'd stay again for the price. We wanted to be away from downtown since we are not big drinkers so location was great."

"I have stayed there in the past for the Spring Fling. This was my first time for the Fall Ball and I'm going to make it a tradition every year now. The taxi drivers are the best and make the short ride well worth it. Jerry helped us out a ton as we weren't able to bring our cars over on the ferry due to the weather. He made it easy as possible for us. The house was in tip top shape as always, it's very warming. Our home away from home. All the staff at Island Club are the best and give you 110% all the time. "Overall, we had a GREAT time! Management was great- easy check-in & check-out with helpful instructions. The location was a little far from town if you want to enjoy the nightlife. Our rental included a 4-person golf cart, but there was 7 of us, so we always had to make 2 trips with the cart. Each bedroom had 2 beds each, so we all had our own bed. The kitchen was equipped, but had no non-stick frying pans. Fridge worked well, but old and no rails on door. Coffee pot old, but worked. The huge grill was a BIG plus- awesome grill out on the big front deck. Air conditioning worked great. Fancy- no; more than adequate and clean- YES."

"Door was unlocked upon arrival, not sure why. Fridge didn't work when we arrived. Slight odor very noticeable at first, but wasn't a big deal. Other than that, no problem with anything. "

"We had a terrific time on vacation! Very relaxing and enjoyable. The Island is great! The golf carts were a big hit with our group. Our unit #5 was "good" -- a great location. The kitchen needed more supplies (pots & pans, cookie sheets, colander, pitcher, large bowls)though. A vacuum cleaner would be nice also."

"This is our second year in house #5 and absolutely love it. It's like we're at home when we stay there. It's very clean and has more than enough to room for everyone to sit and eat or to watch TV! The front porch is a great size for us all to hang out on and cook on the grill. It's a great location, you meet a lot of people walking by. "

"I love staying at the Island Club and would defiantly recommend anyone stay here. Although it is not on the main bar strip there are always taxis readily available to take you and your guests in to town and they are always very friendly. Each rental has appliances, features, furniture, etc that always make our stay a great one.
The only reason I gave a 3 star below was due to our air conditioning not working properly.

"Great cabin, great location.

The only issue that seems to happen year after year is the AC being weak. By the end of the weekend it was pretty toasty. Other than that, great trip!"

"Beds were clean, everything seemed to work fine except for the Direct TV so we did a maintenance call on it but he was unable to get it working. Also the previous guest left a golf cart behind the building that has a flat tire. Overall, it was a nice vacation"

"I honestly cannot say enough about this property. Everyone is this house enjoyed everything about it the set up, furniture, the beds are super comfy, it was clean when we got there. The staff in the island were super friendly and always made sure we were okay and didn't need anything. And cab drivers were amazing and knew you by name after a couple rides. We cannot wait until next year. Thank you again for all of your hard work and making are time so enjoyable :) "
