"Perfect weather. Perfect, started raining 1 hour after checkout. Grandkids enjoyed the walking trails, pool, and beaches. the beds were very comfortable aiding in a Great nights sleep. The Mayflies were an adventure, aids in the memories. Did ask for a dustpan, did not receive, so just used cardboard. Vacuum needs a new belt, all adaptable and in no way took from the experience. "When we arrived @ our rental we were pleased to see the house was clean and spacious for our group. Everyone was accommodating and friendly. Great location to the pool. Taxis were convenient and alway's available. We would definitely recommend staying here and we will be returning ourselves."

Management was great, they brought us ice and responded right away when we needed them. I would definitely go back. Only downfall is that's it's a 5 minute drive to town, but the price, and the ability to get a quick cab outweighs the fact that it's not downtown. I can't wait to go back. "

"We came down with 15 people on the second busiest weekend and not only was the place and accommodations perfect they even let us pay a little extra to accommodate three extra people. We will definitely never stay anywhere else and will certainly be back again and again ! "

"The cabin was good for my bachelorette party. We had 12 girls, had plenty of room, and the bathroom was nice and big for all us. You can tell this was a party house though. The wall décor fell if you shut the door to hard and a couple of the chairs were broken when we arrived. Our TV didn't work right and we called maintenance to come and fix it but they never showed. Overall we had a blast. I would recommend this to anyone having a large party that basically just need a roof and some beds to crash after drinking all night. "

"Had a perfectly acceptable stay at Island Club 113. No issues whatsoever. The house was clean. The cabs were very professional in taking us back and forth from town.The only thing that I have to say remotely negative is that the one toilet wasn't as sturdily connected to the floor as I would have liked. "

"I planned a bachelorette party for my girlfriend here based on the fact I had stayed here in the past for another bachelorette party. 113 could use a lot of work and cleaning. Bugs and broken items throughout the house. The 4th bedroom is supposed to have 2 full/full queen beds in there, and there is only one- not even enough room for another.

With all this being said, I addresses my concerns with the property company and they handled things very well. I recommend staying at the Island Club, just not in this unit. "

"A group of 12 of us spent an extended weekend at Island Club 113 and had a great time! The cottage next to us was under renovation and the dust and noise was a little annoying. We also found some utensils and pans were not in the kitchen, but that was not a major issue since we had brought some of our own. It was a perfect weekend and that staff was very friendly and the pool was great! Overall a really good experience."

"This will be our third year in #113 for Spring Fling and for the most part, we do not have any major complaints. There was an Island Club staff (unsure of name) who asked several guests of #113 how they were able to stay in that location, asked us "who do you know to get this house?" and had a hard time believing that we have been staying in #113 for a few years now. The staff wasnt rude, but continued to question the guests and asked sevearl times. Also, upon arrival this year, there were crumbs on the counter top, the fridge was missing the handle (island club staff notified), there was what appeared to be black mold in the dishwasher so we did not want to wash our dishes in there, there was no vacuum in the house to clean any messes throughout the weekend. and the bathrooms had the same issues that they have had in the past years. In the main bathroom, the toilet wobbles and is loose. When you sit on it, it will rock. The flooring in the bathroom is also popped and raised in a few areas throughout. As said before, there are not too many complaints, however, if we are spending the money we are spending to stay in these cabins for the weekend, I would expect the cabins to have general upkeep and be cleaned and ready for the next group to come in. The problems in the bathroom with the toilets and flooring have been an issue (mentioned to Island Club staff in previous years) the last couple times we have stayed in #113. We love the cabin location and truly enjoy our stay but would like to see the house to be cleaner and small issues fixed to feel as if we are receiving a quality stay for what we are paying. Other than that, we had a blast and love Island Club hospitality. Thanks for another fun weekend!"

"Very positive, clean and nice home with a lot of room. Only issues were the grill was not working for us, it had propane but we think it may have been clogged from the grease or the gap in the back was letting too much heat out. It took a long time to cook our dinners. It doesn't have anything to do with the house but someone stole our cooler off the front porch so do not leave anything outside. "

"Our stay at the Island Club cabin was great. We stayed in #113 and it was nice to have our own place. They had pots and pans for cooking and when we arrived everything was clean. Except for the beds being bunk beds in a few of the rooms (would like to see a double instead of bunk beds) we would recommend this place to anyone."

"Our experience with island club rentals has always been the best u could ask for. The house we rented convinced us to never go anywhere else. The staff ,and the property are the best on the island. "We were very pleased with the property. Dottie on the staff was very helpful when we checked in and got everything squared away. This was a good venue for a bachelor party weekend. The house was fully furnished and had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen table was quite wobbly but we aren't high maintenance guys and we're careful when using it. Having the grill and seating out front was great. It made for an awesome lounging area for us and new friends made while on the property. It probably would have been a good idea to bring some bug spray and/or a citronella candle. Overall, the house could definitely have been more clean, but there was nothing that would get a bachelor party group in an uproar. Every one else at the Island Club will be jealous of your unit, anyway, thanks to its size and layout. "

"If you have a group of 6 or more traveling to Put-In-Bay on a tight budget, you simply can't beat the Island Club. I've stayed at numerous homes in the Island Club over the years and it never fails to disappoint. If you're looking for luxury, look elsewhere. However, if you just need a place to crash for the weekend while having private space for your group, go to Island Club. The neighborhood itself is one big party every weekend. Quiet hours start at midnight so you're not going to lose any sleep staying here. The pool is BYOB and they have working grills at most houses. They also have their own taxi service that is constantly patrolling the neighborhood. $3 each person per ride (most of the time). The site manager Dotty is first-class. If you need anything she will provide you with her cell number. Houses have quite a bit of wear and tear, but all facililties are in working order. "

"I've stayed at Island Club two times previous, and this was by far the nicest unit I have been to. It was a perfect fit for 12 people and had a great feel. The lot is large and allowed for several types of yard games to be setup at once. It is tucked away which can be a negative or positive depending how you look at it. We were not "right in the middle" of everything going on, but had no problems meeting new people and didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone.

Island Club was attentive to any needs we had and the manager stopped by the first day to introduce herself and give us a few pieces of advice for the island.

The group found themselves out to the bar every night and Mr. Ed's was the group favorite. During a hot day the Island Club pool was awesome and the party was at the pool bar called Mist.

All the cab drivers were awesome and quick to come get you and take you wherever you want.

Definitely one of the best weekends of my life."

"The vacation rental experience was very nice. Island Club 113 was overall clean and very spacious despite the slightly dated look. Our party of had plenty of room for sleeping and could have even added two to three more comfortably. The main office was helpful and courteous. "

"Nice resort, enjoyed our stay. We were surprised at the simple conveniences that' were missing though. As instructed we brought our linens and towels. The only thing furnished in bathroom was toilet paper. No soap, shampoo, the normal staples you would expect. Also no toilet paper holder, no towel racks in either bathroom. No place to hang towels of any kind. No paper towels in kitchen. Need to be prepared to bring all these things to the island or purchase there. Very simple fixes would have made our stay much more comfortable."

"This was our first visit to Put in Bay, on a family vacation. We stayed from Sun evening until Fri AM so we can't comment on what it is like during the busier weekend timeframe. The Island Club is a nice neighborhood of rental home (cabin like). The house was a bit worn down (broken picture frame, chandelier hanging by a coat hanger, etc) but it had everything we needed and met our expectations. Keep in mind some of these homes have renters moving in/out twice a week so they show some signs of abuse. We chose this unit mainly for the ability to sleep 12 people which it can easily do if needed. Unit 113 is located off a cul-de-sac and was nicely shaded throughout the day. There is a picnic table out front and 4 chairs and a BBQ grill out back. A back deck table would have been nice. It is situated a bit close to the road but it wasn't an issue and we enjoyed the privacy more than we were bothered by traffic (there isn't too much except on peak check in/out days since it is enroute to the Miller Ferry line. The Island Club pool was rather crowded considering it was mid week (but is was the week after the 4th of July). An adult pool on the property would be great. We did not go to the other pools on the island which we were told we had access to, so there could have been other options. We rented a golf cart which was convenient but not necessary for weekday visits. I imagine parking a car downtown on a weekend would be tough though. Most of the bar/restaurants were 1/4 full during the weekday and most of them had some form of live music during the afternoon/evening. The rental process and management were great the few times we had to speak to them (not about any issues). Overall, we were happy with Island Club and our time at Put In Bay and would recommend #113."

"The house was great, perfect size for the 12 of us. The only downfall was the television was broken and when we called to have it looked at, no one came. We grabbed a worker outside of the party and asked them to see if they can fix it. They looked at it and said they would be right back but then never came back. So we were out of a television all weekend which was a bummer for the sports boys. "

"The property was nice but could use some TLC; lots of bugs in the sky lights. No drain plug in the jacuzzi tub and one of the door walls did not open. The picnic table was falling apart and we did not have any outside chairs to sit on."

"Overall, the property was great. It was roomy and well laid out. The property was clean and the kitchen ware was sufficient for the 9 people we had. I was verbally informed that one bedroom had two bunk beds in it - this was not the case. The three bedrooms with bunks had 1 bunk each, with two full mattresses. There was only one roll of paper towels and two rolls of toilet paper = not necessarily a problem, I just assumed there would be more. There was no iron, which would have been convenient. Overall great, a little more up front communication would have helped on those few issues we had. "

"The manager was very welcoming, laid back, and had some tips for us for the weekend. We had 11 guys up there for the weekend and never had any problems. We called once when we ran out of propane and had it replaced within 15mins. Easy to get to other side of island. Cab buses come by constantly.

Only complaints would be that the fridge didn't work great, we couldn't get some basic network stations on the tv despite having loads of channels, and we were told it was 8 twin beds + 2 queen beds, but it ended up being 6 full and 2 queens."

"Had a very great time in the Island Club cabin. I would definitely recommend a return visit to all friends and family. Thank you to all the staff for making our experience great. The only drawback was a break in one of the bedroom doors, I was concerned with being able to secure my own deposit due to this pre-existing condition."
