"There was a lot of paperwork and rules but if you are ok with that then the place is nice. Pool was close and house was what you would expect for a place with a lot of use. There was a decent supply of cookware in the kitchen. Location is a bit far from downtown and needs a ride or bike. "

"I brought students up for a 4 day trip to Stone Lab and Kelley's Island. We needed another spot. The place was clean and large enough for all of us to share 4 houses and still eat together and spend the evening playing games and talking."

"It's not the Ritz, but if your going to PIB for a party, this is the place. This was our second time at the Island Club. We went for a bachelor party and had ample room for all our guests. Lots of room for tailgate games (ie. Cornhole, can jam, etc.) Staff was very helpful and offered us any help we needed. Quick taxi rides downtown and to the pool parties from location. We will stay at the Island Club again when we come back."

"Upon arrival i was a bit put off by the amount of damage to the house. After we unpacked and settled in the things that were damaged just faded away in the background. We were all so excited about our trip that those things just didn't matter anymore. By damage I mean, towel bar broken, trim on cabinets missing, refridgerator drawers cracked/broken, small hole in bedroom wall, plastic over window torn (would look better off than torn). I did spend about 30 minutes picking up cigarette butts from the yard. I didn't want to chance loosing our deposit for someone else mess. The house itself was clean. Beds appeared clean. We will stay here again for sure. I do not recommend this place for people with small children. Maybe early in the week Mon-Wed but not the weekends. Party City!"

"We've been visiting PIB for 15 years or so and always have a great time. The accommodations are exactly what we need for our group and Dottie always takes great care of us. Plus, we enjoy meeting our neighbors every year. This unit had a few blemishes but were easily overlooked and didn't affect us at all. However the AC froze up during our stay even though we set it around 68-70 degrees. Dottie and her staff did a great job in handling the issue for us though so we will no doubt be back again next year!"

"The cabin was extremely clean and spacious on the inside, and had plenty of gathering space on the outside. My second time staying in these cabins and I would never stay somewhere else on the island!"

"Loved the staff, they were very helpful! The house was clean and plenty of space even for 12 of us!! The only negative thing I can say was that the trash can outside was still full and VERY smelly when we got there and was never taken, so our bags had to be placed beside it.
You can't beat the prices, or the great customer service of the staff and the Taxi service that was always driving through!! We'll be back for another stay :)"

"Girls weekend! We had 8 girls in this house, very roomy, and it feels like home. Nice deck on the back. The hospitality is outstanding. Very well taken care off and will definitely be back!!!"

Staff was very accommodating in making reservations and helping with suggestions for planning activities. Fantastic experience."

"The house was just the right size for our group of seven. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Location was convenient to both downtown and the ferry, with plenty of transportation options. The community is a nice balance - lively yet quiet. Only knock is for the grill needing some work."

"I recently rented this house to host my friend's bachelorette party. It was an awesome experience! The house was a bit more spacious than I thought it would be -- we had 12 people, the max capacity, but a few of us still had full beds to ourselves. That was a pleasant surprise. And the common areas were very spacious as well!

The one drawback was that we wished it was a little closer to town, but the taxi services were very speedy and affordable. Most of them were like little party busses when we took them into town for the evening! We also rented a couple golf carts during the day and had a blast driving those around. Although we weren't that close to town, it was nice seeing all the other groups around the little Island Club village. It almost felt like grown-up summer camp!

Great experience overall, I would recommend it to anybody!"

"We really enjoyed the Island Club home we rented. It had plenty of comfortable space for our family. We had a multi-generational group (age 2-60) so we had different needs for different people and it worked out great. The back bedrooms were far enough away from the fray for the kids to go to bed early and still allow the adults to stay up and talk. The kitchen was spacious (big fridge and two tables) so we could all cook and eat at the same time. We rented a golf cart and went everywhere in it -- everything was in close proximity. We had a great time and felt the rental was a great value. The caretakers were easily accessible when needed too. Thanks."

"All of the personnel I delt with were very nice & helpful. The house was as advertised but the floors were disgustingly dirty & 1 sofa smelled like urine. The golf cart was waiting for us when we arrived & someone came promptly when we were ready to leave. The pool & area maintenance was good. "

"This was our second year staying at the Island Club and we were very happy! The layout of the house and the bedrooms were perfect to accommodate a large group. The pool was clean, the shuttle services were reliable and incredibly fun, and the staff was accommodating. We have nothing but good things to say about our stay and would highly recommend to others. "Our experience was a great one. Just about everything in the house worked (2-3 various light bulbs out, had to make an easy fix to the grill lid). The A/C chilled the house down real quick (wasn't a blazing hot weekend but nonetheless it worked great), all the beds were very comfy, showers got the job done, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (including grilling stuff!), all outlets worked (there were surprisingly a lot which is great to charge your phone since it does so quickly on the island), the back patio was clutch for relaxing outside, the TV had cable which would have been ultra-clutch had team USA beat Belgium and played on the 4th, and in general there was plenty of tables/chairs for people to sit and enjoy a summer drink.

The only issue was the dishwasher not working (leaked water). We fortunately religiously used paper/plastic all weekend so sink duty on Sunday wasn't an issue.

To round out the experience, the neighborhood pool was great, the Island Club Taxi service was incredibly efficient and friendly (Thank you Tony and Coconut Pomps), and all our neighbors were super nice and friendly.

Overall the house was a major success! I highly highly recommend this to anyone considering pulling the trigger."

"Great location, home was clean some things need to be fixed. Lights, oven door,small thing like that. I have been staying at island Club for at least 10 years now we always are welcomed by Dottie and all of are needs are always taken care of.

"I booked the cabin for my friends Bachelorette Party and could not have been happier with our stay. Dottie, the manager on site, is amazing and helpful. We arrived about 2 hours prior to the check in time and decided to use the pool while we waited to get into our cabin. We ran into Dottie and she was very warm and accommodating. She let us in early and made sure we were happy with the cabin. There was a box spring broken on one bed and she had it fixed immediately. She gave us cards for the taxis and made sure we were happy. The taxis are continuously circiling and arrive very quickly when called. I recommend Tony! Super nice guy! The pool was clean and we enjoyed our first afternoon there. The cabin was clean and had plenty of space for the 11 ladies staying. They also supplied several appliances in the kitchen to help with meals! I definitely recommend this company to others and would stay there again on future visits to the island!"

"We stayed at House 110 for Spring Fling 2013, it is my favorite house there. My friends and I go twice a year, every year, we always have a great time. Renting every year is always easy they have my email and we communicate that way or by phone if necessary. They keep my info. and contact me with everything I need. "

"I had a great time. House was beautiful but there were a few furniture/appliance issues that we found. There was no broom, just a mop. One of my houseguest brushed up against the wall and a decorative wall piece broke in half. I blamed her for breaking it until I examined it where the break happened and you can see where the paddle has been glued and stapled back together before. Also, we had to unplug the stove after using it once because it kept turning itself on. I find these to be minor issue and still think the house was beautiful and was surprisingly updated from pictures on website. I would stay here again!!!"
