"We were 7 - three mature adults and four teenagers. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms worked really well. We had some great meals and enjoyed sitting outside on the round tables. The cottage was very quiet and the trees and surrounding area was very refreshing."

"My sister and I, and our two families (with four school aged kids between us), stayed here for two nights during the week to take advantage of lower prices and avoid the crowds. It was great. The management was very responsive to all of my questions before hand and all of our needs while we were there. The place was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, and it was nice having the pool. Would definitely choose again next time! Also, we love Put in Bay; we have a long history here. This time we tried something different - parasailing. It was so fun! And a sunset pizza party at the state park located right near the island club. Beautiful. "

"We had a terrific time. Weather was perfect. Location was great, quiet area away from downtown noise. Cabin was outdated, but clean. We were busy anyway. We did rent a golf cart, which was so fun and the only way to get around. Very enjoyable experience!!"

"We all went here for my wife’s birthday weekend. Super quaint enough space to sleep at least 8 peoples comfortably. My only hang up was it was difficult to see the cabins numbers when we arrived after sundown. Oh and also have the passcode and cabin number pulled up before you arrive because it is very much a dead zone for your cell phone."

"We have been coming to Island Club #106 for years. Its fairly clean although we did immediately find a t-shirt and glasses that were left behind from prior tenant. Not sure how this got missed by "cleaning" staff. Regardless, we had a great time. My only negative is the late check in time. With as much as these units are I would hope to get 2pm or 3pm check in time. 4pm check in time is very late especially since check out time is 11am. "

"This little cabin was great for our party. Enough room for 10, the Island taxi was always in and out, so your ride was quick. Could be a little cleaner in some spots, but I would stay again. "

Property felt like a vacation home. Everything worked and provided a home feel when we weren't off exploring. Condition is good, some damage/dents. Understand, not everybody respects rental properties and owners can't just run to a big box store to replace stuff. As a former island resident, I wanted a great experience for my daughter and her family who had never been there. They didn't want to leave, and are already planning to return. The rental house was a big part of that experience. Book it and put some island in your life!"

"I rented this house out for my best friend's bachelorette party and it was perfect! Plenty of room, the landlord was very very responsive and the location was awesome. I originally thought it was far away from downtown, but it was only a 5 min ride and there is a taxi service provided in the Island Club neighborhood. Would definitely recommend it and I would love to go back!"

"Me and 7 other friends went to Put-in Bay on the weekend of May 11-13. Let's just say cabins was more than fun, it was great experience. From the ferry ride, to the comfy and clean cabin, to the nice taxi drivers, and the late night fun at the bars and clubs. Staying in the cabins is the perfect vacation with friends or a significant other to get away and have some fun with new people from all over Ohio and other places. Granted the weather not being ideal, but it was not the worst. Put-in Bay is certainly a place I would highly recommend to everyone. Not a lot of people know that there is an island off the shores of the Sandusky area. More people need to know if this awesome island and all the fun and excitement that comes with it."

"This place is perfect for fishermen. We were here for 7 days and had a great time. Everyone on the island is very nice. Unfortunately the weather was not the best and we only got a couple good days of fishing in but we were able to get a 31" walleye that going to go on the wall.
The last three days of our trip there was major winds blowing in from the east and it caused flooding so we were stuck on the island. When I called the office and asked them if we could extend our say they told us that we could stay as long as we were stuck and they would not charge us.
That kind of customer service does not happen any more. What a great staff and great place. We cant wait to come back!"

"We enjoyed the outdoor spaces that this cabin offered. Also had brand new couches in the living room which were very comfortable. Two of the sliding doors were difficult to operate but it sounded like these were being replaced very soon after speaking with management. Everyone that I spoke with from Island Club Rentals was great to work with and made every process easy. We also rented a golf cart through them and had the same great experience. Would definitely stay with Island Club again."

"Normally we arrive at PIB in October, but thought we would try June. Of course more crowded but still tons of fun. We always have stayed at the Island Club and have our favorite house, but it was unavailable this time. We stayed in #106 which is located in our favorite location at the club. Not overly excited about the place but it was okay. One of the sliding doors did not work at all and the other was "iffy". I do believe that the house just needs some upgrades done. We have a routine for our weekends. Definitely lobster bisque at the boardwalk, hamburgers across the street, great band at the Boathouse this year. If you want to have fun, there is plenty of opportunity. What is our favorite house# you ask??? Uh, that's our secret. Can't let the cat our of the bag."

"Our overall stay was great. Location was great too. Home was clean but needs some work. One window needs repair and one of the sliding doors needs repair. May flies were awful. Pool was great. No wifi service."

"The staff here was very responsive. We were assigned Cabin #2 and upon arriving knew it was unsuitable for us - right between the complex entrance and main road. We were moved immediately. The location of cabin #106 was very nice. The back was wooded and quite private. The cabin was clean and reasonably furnished. We saw staff picking up trash along the street but the cabin's back yard had beer cans and trash in it and that was not addressed. We found several issues with the cabin (e.g. missing light bulbs, broken door) but as soon as we called, staff arrived and corrected them. Some of the downsides: The shower was too small for me (5'3", size 8 woman). There were no towel bars in the bathrooms, minimal lighting throughout the cabin; no screens on doors and windows. The cleaning staff didn't check dishes - they were dirty and wet. There was a dishwasher but no detergent and no kitchen towels - wish we'd known to bring. Given our experience, we would recommend the facility to young friends or families but not to friends seeking quiet and comfort.
Put-n-Bay is lovely and while golf carts are the primary mode of transportation, you can take a car anywhere on the island. We got good advice at the town visitors center about restaurants and we were very satisfied, particularly with the Put-n-Bay Brewery. We also especially enjoyed the Doller house tour. "

"We stay at this house two times a year now, Spring Fling and Fall Ball. The house has been renovated and now has new beds, a new television with sattelite, new living room furniture (sofa, loveseat and chair), a new grill and picnic table. The amenities are just like home!

"Good to be able to stay with whole family and enjoy the weekend."

"I called to office when day we arrived to let them know that one of the sliding glass doors leading out to the patio was broke and I actually even cut my hand on it trying to put it back together so it could be shut. I was told that someone would be by to look at it and nobody showed. We also found later that one of the bedroom doors would not open after it was shut and had to be jimmied open with a credit card in order for the person inside to get out. The range breaker kept popping at the electrical box (called about this the same time we called about the sliding glass door). We later found out that when it did not pop at the electical box, the stove was staying hot even though the dials were turned off. The dishwasher sounds like it works, but does not. The clothes washer cycles through the wash, but the rinse cycle does not work. The master bath, the shower backs up with water. I told them about this back in May when I stayed, but it is still an issue. I have been staying in this house for the spring fling for a long time and while it was very nice that the cosmetic items were taken care of, there are a lot of safety hazards that should be addressed sooner rather than later. Finally, I was not pleased that there was yet another car parked in the front yard all day Saturday. Must have been a staff member, but I do not want to be held responsibile for yard damamge not to mention the fact that we had to look at it all day. "The home was very nice. They have the homes fully stocked so it's not necessary to bring a lot from home, which is outstanding. Check in and check out was so easy. The representatives I talked with were very kind and helpful. The location of the home is in a calm and peaceful area. By the time we arrived our golf cart rental was already waiting in the front yard. The only issue we had was when we left, we were unsure what to do with the golf cart. You have to give them a credit card (which they do not charge, only hold for security for the golf cart which is reasonable.) We had to leave early and was not able to get hold of anyone about the golf cart. So I am hoping by leaving it where I found it, locked up and the keys inside the home, it was okay. Still not sure how to get my credit card back yet. But they are very professional and I have no doubt they will handle the situation just fine. I would highly suggest giving Island Club a stay. You won't be disappointed."
