Sure, you can bring up to two cars per house. Each Island Club home has a driveway for two vehicles. Each Condo has parking for ONE vehicle maximum. You can also bring your boat. If you have additional guests in your group and need more parking, you can also leave cars on the mainland near the Miller Ferry in their free parking lots.

It is suggested that you make you reservations very early in the year especially if your stay involves a weekend. Cottage Homes and hotel rooms are limited on the Island and booking early will help insure you get the dates you want. You may book on-line by visiting our reservation request page and selecting the hotel or home rental of your choice.

We have two ferry companies that service Put-in-Bay (South Bass Island). The one closest to the Put-in-Bay Condos is the Miller Ferry. It transports both passengers and vehicles to the island. The Miller is also popular for mid-summer late night cruises such as their Stargazing and Green Week. Check the Miller Ferry website for hours, rates, and mainland address on Catawba Island.

The other ferry is a high-speed passenger-only ferryboat operator that services Put in Bay Island called the Jet Express. The Jet Express leaves out of Port Clinton and whisks you around the island to land on their dock downtown. They also have their schedule and rates posted online at the Jet Express website so you can plan ahead.

Visit our Getting Here page for more information on Ferry Services.

We recommend you do not bring multiple cars to the Island. The Put-in-Bay Condos have ONE parking spot available per condo. The Island Club homes each have a TWO car driveway. Parking is very limited on the Island. Pack up your group's biggest SUV or truck with all your luggage and goodies and send it over!

Golf Carts may be rented during your stay to leisurely enjoy a sightseeing tour of the island and to get back and forth downtown. We also have a taxi service at the  Put-in-Bay Condos which is only $4 per person to go anywhere on the island!

The weather at Put-in-Bay is much like all of northern Ohio coastal communities. In spring and fall a light jacket our sweatshirt is recommend for evenings. Island dress is casual. Current weather and a 10-day forecast may be found in our current island weather section. Just remember, it NEVER rains in our great restaurants and bars!

On weekends our Put-in-Bay vacation homes require a two-night minimum. On holiday weekends there is only a two-night minimum compared to many downtown hotels which require three. There is a two-night minimum stay requirement Sunday thru Thursday nights where Sundays are not on a holiday weekend.
