May 7Blessing of the FleetJoin us in celebrating the 26th annual gathering of boats and aircraft that service the island to be blessed for the 2013 season. May 24-28Annual Memorial Day weekend Bash at the BAY!One of the most popular weekends of the year at Put-in-Bay, this three day weekend features Put-in-Bay's most popular entertainers, many with multiple shows! Perry Memorial opens daily and offers kids programs daily at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Rangers give evening programs every Tuesday at 7 p.m. Musket firing demonstrations every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitor Center summer hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 10. A.m. to 5 p.m. April 20-May 24 and September 3-October 28.

June 1-2Ohio Bike weeks 4th annual Rally on the RockBikers participating in the 2013 Ohio Bike Week's North Coast Thunder Rally will enjoy a chance to tour Put-in-Bay and participate in a scavenger hunt, vendors show, along with many contests and live entertainment. More than 500 bikes are expected to make the trip to the island. For additional information on Put-in-Bay Ohio's Rally on the Rock call 216-898-9951.
The Scavenger hunt will begin Sunday at 3:00 pm from the Put-in-Bay Resort and conclude at 5:30.

June 6-9The 19th annual Phlocking of the PhaithfulThe Annual Phlocking of the Phaithful Jimmy Buffet Parrot head weekend at Put-in-Bay. This event is hosted by the Commodore Resort, Island Club, and the Bay Lodging Resort. Join in with over 1500 Jimmy Buffet fans for three days and nights of fun food and festivities. June 7-9The 106th Mills Cup Trophy RaceMore than 1500 sailors are expected to participate in this race that originates from the Toledo Yacht Club via an Invitational Sailing race from Toledo to Put in Bay.
June 15Put-in-Bay Pooch ParadePut-in-Bay Pooch Parade to benefit Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. Registration begins at 10 a.m. at the DeRivera Park gazebo, parade & contest starts at 10:30. Prizes for cutest, smallest, largest, most talented, individual best dressed, group best dressed, dog that looks most like its owner. Cats are not invited. Always a great time.
June 16The 39th Annual Jose DeRivera Founders Day CelebrationA celebration of the founding of the island village of Put in Bay by Jose DeRivera. Founder's Day means great food and lots of fun for the entire family. Held in DeRivera Park downtown from 11 am to 5 pm.
Island entertainment will perform a free concert from 12:30 to 2 pm. The Put-in-Bay Hog Roasters will provide a roast beef picnic lunch.
Shop for fantastic bargains at one of the many sale tables and pick up information on one of our non-profit groups that rely on the support of our community and visitors.
June 23-28Arts on ErieA Week-long arts programs for Children learning various crafts and activities at Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial Visitor Center. Week kicks off with a Family Night Concert at the Perry Memorial visitor center at 7 p.m.
June 28 - July 1The 5th Annual Pyrate Fest weekend at the BayPyrates invade Put-in-Bay's downtown harbor Friday at 4 p.m. to open the 2013 Put-in-Bay Pirate Fest. Saturday has a Pirate Parade and Costume Contest for kids and adults, Pyrate marketplace and displays, A Kids fun fest and black powder firing demonstrations. Monday is the infamous Cardboard Boat Races at 6 p.m. in the downtown harbor. Reenactors demonstrate sword fighting techniques and the art of skullduggary. Fireworks Saturday at dark.

July 1Canada DayCelebrate Canada with cake and learn about our partnership with Canada and the long-lasting peace between our countries for almost 200 years at the Perry's Victory Visitor Center.
July 4Fourth of July FireworksThe island business owners and friends of the Bay will sponsor a spectacular fireworks program at dark (10pm). Fireworks will be over the downtown harbor. Enjoy a great view from the memorial and surrounding lawn. Bring a chair or a blanket.
July 4United States Army Band ConcertThis free concert is at 7:30 p.m. and is open to the public. The United States Army Band will perform at Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial as part of the Centennial observance of the laying of the cornerstone of the Perry Memorial.
July 6Freedom ConcertThe Central Ohio Symphony will perform at 6:30 p.m. on the porch at Perry's Victory Visitor Center. The concert is free and open to the general public. The symphony's performance is part of Put-in-Bay's Community Independence Day Celebration and is co-sponsored by the Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce, and the Put-in-Bay Arts Council.
July 12-14Put-in-Bay Cup Soccer ChallengePut-in-Bay's eighth annual "Soccer Challenge" will be held at the McCann Field near downtown. This amateur adult soccer tournament is a 6 on 6 match with rosters limited to 10 players. The tournament will be played on a 60 by 40 pitch with no offside. Goals are 6 by 12 feet and a size 4 ball is used. The Island Club, Put-in-Bay Condos and the Bay Lodging Resort are recommended hotels for the tournament.
Players from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, West Virginia and Canada are expected to compete. Divisions include men's open, B, 30+ & 40+; women's open, B & 30+; coed open & recreational. Coed teams are required to have two female players on the field at all times. July 18-29Put-in-Bay's 12 Days of Christmas in JulyIsland businesses decorate for the 12 days of Christmas! Food and beverage specials in a Christmas theme are featured throughout the island. Family oriented activities Sunday thru Thursday. This event is one of the busiest periods of the year so be sure to make your Put in Bay hotel reservations early! Great live entertainment and nearly the entire downtown area is decorated for Christmas. The Jet Express offers late night ferry service.
July 21-25I-LYA Junior Sail RegattaJunior Sailors compete for points towards national competition in various racing classes. Activities are based at the Put-in-Bay Yacht Club.

August 7-11Power Boat RegattaPut-in-Bay welcomes the annual I-LYA Power Boat Regatta. Four days of activities based at Put-in-Bay Yacht Club
August 9-10Barber Shop Quartets Concert at Put-in-BayThe annual performance on the island by the Barber shoppers will take place at 7 pm at Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial plaza in the downtown area on Friday and the Middle bass Town Hall on Saturday. Over 20 quartets performing are expected to perform.
August 10The 8th Annual Lake Erie Islands Historical Society's island "Auction for History"Annual auction benefiting the Lake Erie Islands Historical Society Museum, 4 p.m. Viewing begins at 1 p.m. Preview live auction items and bid on silent auction items Friday night, August 9, at 4 p.m. at the Event Center. The auction will be held at the Event Center on Concord. Check the museum website, leihs.org for more info.
August 13Roundhouse Bars Bartender Olympics!Sponsored by the Roundhouse Bar, this popular island event is held on the main strip Delaware Avenue and inside the red round bar. Competition begins at 7 pm with a parade and the lighting of the Olympic torch. Local bars and restaurants perform unique skits and zany theatrics.
August 17-18VOLLEYBALL BATTLE ON PUT-in-BAYFor more than 25 years volleyball players have competed in this day long tournament held the last few years at McCann Field on Toledo Avenue near downtown Put-in-Bay. August 23-24Key West Days at Put-in-BayIsland entertainers who perform on Put-in-Bay in the summer and in Key West in the winter will participate in the annual "Key West Days at Put-in-Bay." Key West held its first "Put-in-Bay Days" in February of 2005 with a huge turnout of northerners seeking to escape the winter cold. August 25The 20th Annual 5-iron Classic Golf TournamentTake home $10,000 in cash if you sink a hole-in-one or one of three other great prizes! August 27-29Put-in-Bay Road Race ReunionClassic sports car owners recreate the post WWII road races around the island from 1952-1959 and again in 1963. August 30th - September 2ndBattle of Lake Erie Bicentennial CelebrationThe Battle of Lake Erie Bicentennial Celebration in late August through September 10, 2013 will bring together hundreds of thousands of people from the U.S., Canada and abroad. The two-week Celebration will include a large fleet of Tall Ships in an historic reenactment of the Battle of Lake Erie, a grand Parade of Sail and Port Festivals in waterfront cities in the U.S. and Canada. Visitors will be able to tour the Ships, enlist as Crew Members in the reenactment, or be part of the Bicentennial Fleet or Militia.
Along with Tall Ships activities, surrounding days will include a series of exciting events to commemorate the Bicentennial, including: National Speakers, Marching bands, Fireworks, Concerts, Parade of Boaters, International Freedom Celebration, Food, Entertainment, Arts & Crafts, Solemn ceremonies to honor the fallen, and Historical Activities. Official invitees will include representatives from the U.S., British and Canadian governments as well as Native American Indian groups.
It will be an epic Celebration for Ohio, the Great Lakes region and our nation. Plan to join us for the Battle of Lake Erie Bicentennial Celebration.
Main Events include: Tall Ships Arrive in port; Tall Ships Festival with entertainment, re-enactors, arts, crafts food & beverage; Parade of Boaters; and the highlight: Battle of Lake Erie Re-creation.
September 6-8Historical Weekend at Put-in-BayThis family oriented weekend offers a wide variety of family activities including the Grand Parade on Saturday at 2:15 p.m. with antique and classic cars, numerous area bands and dignitaries. Boy Scout Camp-O-Ree at the Perry Memorial. Musket & Cannon firing demonstrations. Art in the Park featuring regional artists, photographers, potters, painters, silversmiths, and displays, downtown DeRivera Park on Saturday.
Art in the Park Downtown DeRivera Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a wide variety of area and regional artist displaying and selling their work. The Grand Parade starts at 2:15 pm on the main street in downtown Put-in-Bay.
The Toledo Symphony's first concert of the 2013 season will commence at 6:30 pm on the lawn behind the Perry's Victory Visitors Center.
September 7Historical Weekend Grand ParadeLocal and regional dignitaries join 1200 scouts, classic cars, four high school marching bands, the captain of the USS Lake Erie, area veterans and 1812 re-enactors for the annual Grand Parade at 2:15 p.m.
September 7-8Art in the ParkArea and regional arts and craftspeople display and sell their original works in photography, watercolor, acrylic, pottery, silver smithing, glass, stained glass, fabric, wood and paper. Live demonstrations and silent auction that benefits the Put-in-Bay Arts Council. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in DeRivera Park.
September 8Muffins vs. Mossbacks Historical Baseball GameAnnual match played at the ball field on Concord Avenue. The Ohio Historical Society Muffins challenge the Put-in-Bay Mossbacks using the original rules of baseball. Game begins at 2 p.m. Refreshments available with all proceeds benefitting the Lake Erie Islands Historical Society Museum. Sponsored by Miller Boat Line.
September 13-14The 40th Annual new Years at the BAY!!Put-in-Bay welcomes you to enjoy holiday festivities including the very popular Monte Carlo casino style gambling downtown Put-in-Bay on Delaware Avenue from 6 pm to 11 pm on Saturday night. The boats in the Put-in-Bay harbor decorate for this fun festive occasion. Book your Put-in-Bay hotel or home rental accommodations early as this is one of the year's most popular weekends!

September 2110th Annual Miller Boat Line 5K Race.Join more than 600 runners in a challenging race around the island. Come root for your favorite runner or walker. September 21The 38th Annual Put-in-Bay Fire Department Clambake38th annual island style Clam Bake sponsored by the Put-in-Bay Volunteer fire department. The event is held Saturday afternoon from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Fire Station on Concord Avenue. Bake includes a dozen clams, 1/2 chicken, and corn. Potato, fresh fruit and vegetables included. Carry out is available! Tickets are $25.00 per person. Proceeds are used to update equipment for the Put-in-Bay island fire department. September 27-28Put-in-Bay Volunteer Fire Departments 5 Alarm Texas Hold Em TournamentIsland firefighters hold the annual Texas Holdem Tournaments to raise funds for equipment upgrades for the island department. Two tournaments, one at noon and the second at 6 p.m. held at the fire station on Concord Avenue. Refreshments available.

October 5The 10th annual Island Wine FestivalSample more than 350 foreign and domestic wines, including island wines from Heineman Winery and Put-in-Bay Winery, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon of good food, and excellent wine. October 11-13The 19th annual Island OktoberfestThis Put-in-Bay family tradition celebrates Oktoberfest with lots of food and live entertainment by the Maxx Band. Great family fun Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm and Sunday from noon to 5 pm.
Enjoy a wide variety of German foods including spatzel, cabbage rolls, brats, sauerbraten, Wiener schnitzel and all your favorite German sweets! This event is held under a large tent located on Toledo Avenue near the downtown depot. Entry is $4.00 or $6.00 for a 2 day pass. Children 12 and under free when accompanied by an adult.
October 18-19The Wake at the Roundhouse BarThis long time Put-in-Bay tradition celebrates the passing of another summer season. Join friends and islanders for a fun filled weekend, one of the last of the season! A 32 year tradition.
